Spirulina is  high in B vitamins (including exceptionally high B-12) and vitamin K. It is one of best known sources of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) an important fatty acid for heart and joints. It is naturally rich in iodine, eighteen different amino acids and minerals (including calcium, iron, magnesium, selenium, manganese, potassium, and zinc)

Spirulina is an extremely bioavailable protein.  If you are interested in plant based protein that is high quality and easy for your body to use, this should be your go to food (supplement)!

Chlorophyll and Spirulina also help your body to chelate (eliminate) toxins that your body does not otherwise rid itself of such as Arsenic, Mercury, Lead, Aluminum and Uranium that you may be exposed to environmentally and in your food.  These metals are neurotoxins and eventually can reach a neurotoxic level causing neurological disorders.
