Gluten Free Chocolate Torte

Chocolate Torte Ingredients:

2 Cups Chick Peas (Garbanzo beans) rinsed

1/2 Cup Cacao powder

1/2 Cup Melted Coconut Oil

2 Cups Dates, Pitted 

4 Eggs

1 TSP Baking Soda

1 TBSP Vanilla

1/3 Cup Coconut Milk

This torte is dense, moist and full of rich chocolate flavor. 

 

Chick peas replace the flour, and dates replace the sugar. You will never miss either one!

 

It is hard to believe that this delicious chocolate torte is loaded with fiber, protein and micronutrients.  It is a healthy treat that we often eat for breakfast!

Frost it with our  ExistUp Reboot friendly Vanilla Whipped Cream, or the peanut butter variation!!

How to make gluten free chocolate torte video

Directions:

Blend all ingredients in a blender until completely incorporated. We love Nutri Ninja blenders.

 

Pour mix into a round baking pan and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for  35-40 minutes. Cake will be very dense. 

 

Serve topped with berries, toasted coconut and/or drizzled with healthy chocolate!
